Check Who You Are Talking To

Fake support agents are the most common way gaming players lose money. Before you share anything, check that the person you are talking to was reached through the app, not through a message that found you.

Finding Support in the App

Genuine support for a gaming app is found from inside the app or on the publisher's official site, not in a message that arrives first. For Bingo 101, account help comes from the Contact Us screen in the app, which offers 24/7 online customer service and shows your UID at the top, and from the support email on the official site, support@bingo101.com. Our Bingo 101 support guide walks through those channels.

Keep publisher contacts and information sites apart. This website explains how the app works, but it cannot see your account, move money or reset a password. Social accounts that share guides are not account support either.

Impersonation Signs

Scammers copy names, logos and profile pictures, so the look of an account proves nothing. Their behaviour gives them away.

  • They contact you first, often on a personal WhatsApp or Telegram number.
  • They found you through a public comment, group or review where you mentioned a problem.
  • They ask for your OTP, password or UPI PIN to fix or verify something.
  • They rush you: your account will be closed or your money lost unless you act now.
  • They offer something support does not do, such as a bigger bonus, a faster withdrawal or a VIP recharge.
  • Their number or handle came from a search result, a video comment or a forwarded message rather than the app.

Payment and Remote-Access Requests

Two requests should end the conversation straight away.

Payment to a person

A recharge agent asks you to pay to their UPI ID or a QR code instead of using add cash in the app; that money goes to a person, not your wallet. A release fee scam says your withdrawal is frozen and needs a tax or verification charge first. Genuine withdrawals do not need a payment to come out, and you never enter a UPI PIN to receive money.

Remote access

Some fake agents ask you to install a screen-sharing or remote-control app so they can fix your account. That gives them your whole phone, including the OTPs that arrive by SMS and your banking apps. Do not grant control of your device to anyone whose identity you cannot verify, and uninstall any such app you were talked into installing.

What to Record

If you think you have met fake support, collect evidence before you block or delete anything.

  • Screenshots of the chat, including the number, handle or profile name.
  • Any UPI ID, QR code, bank account or link they sent.
  • Payment references, dates, times and amounts for anything you paid.
  • Your own account ID, such as your Bingo 101 UID from Contact Us.
  • Where you first saw their contact details.

Keep the records even after you report, as your bank or the police may ask for them later.

Where to Report Concerns

  1. If you paid money or shared a code, call 1930, India's national cyber fraud helpline, which runs 24 hours a day.
  2. File a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in with your screenshots and payment references.
  3. Call your bank or UPI app and ask them to block the transaction and any card or UPI ID you shared.
  4. Change your app password, and report the fake contact to the publisher's real support from inside the app.
  5. Report the account on the platform where it contacted you, such as WhatsApp or Telegram.

Reporting quickly helps, because banks can sometimes stop money before it moves on, and the publisher can warn other players.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I check a support contact?

Start from the support channel shown in the app or on the publisher's official site. Do not rely on a number posted in an unsolicited message or a comment.

Is a request for remote access a warning sign?

Yes. Treat an unexpected request to control your device as suspicious, and do not grant access to someone whose identity you cannot verify.

Can support ask me to pay a fee to release a withdrawal?

No. Genuine withdrawals do not need a payment to come out. A fee request is a common scam.

Does Bingo 101 support message players first on WhatsApp?

No. Bingo 101 support works through Contact Us in the app and the support email. A personal number that contacts you first is not support.
